Safety control units

Low current, full control

Our safety control units are designed to control WIDE Automation pressure-sensitive safety mats, bumpers and safety edges. Thanks to the low resistance of our sensitive sensors, multiple sensitive elements can be connected in series.

All WIDE Automation control units are TÜV certified, while the NC95 and NC96 control units also have UL certification.

WACS24R

The WACS-24R control unit has been designed to control pressure sensitive safety mats, edges and bumpers, exploiting the signals transmitted by the connected devices and activating the necessary safety measures, in accordance with the technical standards required to meet the needs of safety and health.

The peculiar characteristic of this module is the possibility of using devices with only two wires with resistive terminator (standard 8.2Kohm). However, also having an internal terminator it can be connected to traditional 4-wire safety devices.

The module is based on the use of safety relays with guided contacts and can be configured both with automatic reset and manual reset.
Furthermore, it has an auxiliary signaling output with relay, making both the NO contact and the NC contact available. This output can be configured both in “instant” or “delayed” mode.

NC95

The NC95 module is used for controlling pressure-sensitive (sensing) safety mats according to the technical specifications provided for to meet safety and health needs.

The operation of this manual reset module is based on the use of guided contacts safety relay.

NC96

The NC96 control unit was designed for use in safety systems in compliance with the technical specifications provided for to meet safety and health needs.

The operation of this automatic reset module is based on the use of guided contacts safety relay.

WALR24/2A

The WALR 24-2A control unit was designed for controlling pressure-sensitive (sensing) safety mats and edges in compliance with the technical specifications provided for to meet safety and health needs.

The operation of this manual or automatic reset configurable module is based on the use of guided contacts safety relay.

Backward compatibility

The WALR24/2A safety control unit has been updated to comply with new safety regulations. The only differences for the user, compared to the model produced until 2018, are a new graphic design and the modification of the layout of the indicator LEDs, as shown in the figure. The positions of the wiring connections have remained unchanged.
