Movable protections for the lathe spindle are devices designed to shield the operator from flying metal chips and coolant splashes,
they consist of an openable polycarbonate barrier and a metal support structure.
A safety micro switch will send a stop signal to the machine as soon as the barrier is lifted,
thus allowing the operator to set up the equipment in complete safety.
